Role: BIM Manager / Admin
Location: Conley, GA

Schedule: Monday - Friday; 40 hours (3 days on-site, 2 days remote)
Salary: $85,000 - $110,000/year + benefits (bonus potential)
Must Haves:
- Bachelor's degree
- Senior level of experience in 3D drafting utilizing SolidWorks, Allplan, Revit
- Desire to Draft (60%), Coordinate (30%), and Manage (10%)
- Background in Architecture and BIM

Day to day:
Insight Global is seeking a skilled BIM Specialist for one of our largest precast concrete clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading high-complexity BIM projects, solving complex problems, and developing innovative solutions. Provide training on BIM software, supervise program use, and collaborate with developers to enhance efficiency. Ensure quality, manage documentation, and coordinate with production teams. Offer technical leadership and direct a team of designers.
- Develop new software processes and standards.
- Prepare software improvement plans laying out.
- Coordinate implementation of workflows.
- Coordinate and maintain department standards and procedures.
- Read contract drawings and specifications.
- Prepare a list of items that need to be verified by the Salesman, Estimator, Project Manager, or General Contractor.
- Attend a Client Turnover Meeting (CTO) or attend an early in-house kick-off meeting.
- Analyze, project, and prepare a time management plan for completion dates.
- Coordinate Shop Card issuing sequence with Production Planning.
- Prepare a project binder for project-related documents.
- Prepare and issue all material orders to support the project schedule.
- Prepare, receive, maintain, and issue Requests for Information (RFIs) and emails.
- Converse via email, telephone, or in-person General Contractor, Project Architect, and Project Engineer, and issue an email about what was discussed after each conversation.
- Issue Erection Drawings and Details to the General Contractor or Owner "For Approval” and “For Construction”.
- Confer with the Designer about steel and/or shop cards detailing the progress.
- Guide Designer about company standards for modeling and detailing.
- Detail Steel Card(s) and Shop Cards when required by schedule.
- Receive, approve, or revise & resubmit drawings from the General Contractor or Owner and notify project management when marked changes should result in a change of order.
- Direct Designers on what to detail, such as Shop Cards, and check the work of detailers on the job; Ensure adherence to company standards and proper BIM implementation.
- Work closely with Production regarding conforming restraints.
- Participate and direct BIM coordination efforts with clients and internally.
Compensation:
$85,000 to $110,000 per year annual salary
